Assignment: Create a curriculum page with lesson plan
In the lesson plan "Turn an
Earth Landscape into an Alien Landscape," students create and draw
their own landscape using MS Paint on the computer, operate printer to print
picture, and had them critique their work. MS Paint is a great and easy application
for elementary students to learn. It also helps students become familiar with tools and palettes
on the computer. When preparing the lesson, I familiarized myself with MS Paint and created an example for the students.
It is also very important to start up the computers so that there would
be no "technical difficulties." Showing the students how to save their
work in their own designated folders allows me to check on each student's progress
on the art lesson.
